Ready For Fun! Imaginative, Colorful & Fun Toys

Today I'm very excited to share some terrific toys from B. toys. They are colorful, creative and the stunning packaging makes these fantastic gifts.
B. Fish & Splish Bath Toys
The B. Fish & Splish bath set, winner of the American Baby Toy of the Year, is a boat load of fun. It comes with a ton of accessories including a captain, nesting cups (they have holes in the bottom so water can shower out of them), a fishing pole/hook, fish and more.
I love that this one comes with a nail brush (shaped as a fish). I think this is a nice little touch because my kids could care less about the dirt under there nails and now grooming is just part of the fun! Since all the pieces fit into the boat, it's also a self contained system which is a major plus to help keep things tidy after bath time. Get this for $18.59 @ Amazon.Com, $18.95 @ Target.Com, $29.99 @ OneStepAhead.Com,
B. Snug Bugs 10 Months to 3 years Toy
9 buggy string-along friends! The B. Snug Bugs is a squeezy, chewey, colorful and connective toy made for kids 10 months to 3 years old. The fun little bugs can be played with by themselves or snapped together to make a bug chain.

Spring Strawberry Cake Truffles

Cake Pops 300x187 Spring Strawberry Cake Truffles

Spring Strawberry Cake Truffles

  • 1 Strawberry Cake (13×9 size), crumbled
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting
  • 1 12 ounce bag white chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles or sanding sugar for decorating

1. Place the cake crumbs in a large bowl with 1/2 cup of the frosting. Start mixing the frosting and crumbs together, adding more frosting one tablespoon at a time, until you achieve the consistency of a playdoh.

2. Use clean hands to roll the crumb mixture in your hands to form them into wedge like strawberry shapes, or just make classic round truffles. Insert a lollipop stick or popsicle stick and refrigerate the pops while you melt the chocolate in the microwave.

3. One the chocolate is a smooth consistency dip the chilled cake balls in it until totally covered. Then decorate with sanding sugar or sprinkles and place on a plate lined with wax paper. Place the plate in the refrigerator and chill until the chocolate is totally set.

Oh! I love this project. I had no idea you could dye salt with chalk. I’m sure it creates quite a mess, but I bet kids would adore it. You can find Anne’s full DIY instructions here.

Now I’m wondering what sorts of things I could do with dyed salt. This could be fun for a birthday party activity.

A few things!!!

Hello, Friends! Any fun plans for the weekend? I’m hoping to do some baking and spend some quality time with the family.  Crossing my fingers the weather is sunny and warm so that I’m tempted away from our cozy fireplace.

We have decided on the bedding for Madelyn’s room! Of course, pottery barn kids (PBK), the story of my life. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE PBK, Mason’s bedding is even PBK!!! Now we just have to venture down to IKEA to pick up her white bedroom furniture. I can’t wait to have this all put together with a bow in the door for her 2nd birthday- I LOVE YOU MADELYN ;)
